My Personal Transformation
I had been going through life abusing my body with the foods associated with the “ Standard American Diet”-the usual fast food, meat, dairy and cheese. The foods that society tells everyone they should be eating. I had various addictions, because I couldn’t find happiness. I began to not like the person I saw in the mirror. I decided to take control over my body and get ahold of my health. Through many constant ups and downs, and personal research I found what works !
I experience more energy and a zest for life. The feelings of sluggishness and regret after meals have become a thing of the past! Mental clarity and awareness of life have shown me a way to personal freedom. Truly admitting to myself I needed to change was the first step.
The Whole Food Plant Based Lifestyle gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams! This way of eating has literally brought me back to life! The limitless options are beyond imaginable. The types of foods that are available and the ways you can create meals and sauces are just amazing!!! I have truly fell in love with this way of life and cooking! This has invigorated my passion and I now enjoy cooking for my family. I am now aware and in control over what I put into my body. Which put the power back in my hands.
Prior to this way of eating, I was completely unaware of what was actually in my food. I would pick up and buy food mostly already prepared, and yes fast food. Since experiencing both sides of living I now choose to live the Whole Food Plant Based way. Not only in my nutrition but how I approach all aspects of my life.
Now being a mother of two I feel confident that I am raising my family to receive the nutritional lifestyle and environment they need to thrive!
Everyday I am determined to push myself to stay motivated in my mind body and spirit to ensure I keep progressing forward. Incorporating all aspects of health related living into a sustainable lifestyle is what I want to help others achieve. Nutrition, Education, Pilates and Physical Well-being is the approach I want to educate and inspire others to have.
